(Long Beach, California) – Join thousands of collectors and more than 500 collectibles dealers at the Long Beach Expo. The collectibles convention will open its doors to collectors of coins, banknotes, sports cards and memorabilia, and much more September 5-7, 2024, at the Long Beach Convention Center. The show, held three times a year since 1964, is the oldest collectibles convention on the West Coast. Known for generations as “The Collectibles Show,” this event marks the third and final show during its 60th anniversary year with special attractions and grading promotions collectors won’t want to miss out on.

“We’ve had a wonderful time celebrating the Long Beach Expo’s 60th anniversary this year!” exclaimed PCGS President Stephanie Sabin. “We’ve made many special memories with the thousands who attended our February and June shows, and we’re closing out this jubilee year with a rare West Coast appearance by the United States Mint.”

Sabin added, “This is really a special, time-honored tradition for collectors in Southern California and beyond. We’re very proud to be marking 60 years of the Long Beach Expo and look forward to September, when we will get to meet many of the folks who come year after year as well as new people who will make attending this show an ongoing tradition for them.”

Highlights include lot viewing for an upcoming multimillion-dollar Heritage Auctions sale, a fun and educational treasure hunt for children, valuable prizes for adults, and much more. “We will also offer our always popular Meet the Experts session at the Long Beach Expo,” said PCGS Director of Event Samantha Dark. “Collectors of coins, banknotes, and sports memorabilia can get their questions answered by coin authority Steve Feltner, banknote grader Philip Thomas, and Memory Lane sports guru Dan Wulkan at Booth 908.”

Sports memorabilia collectors can bring their treasures for onsite authentication and grading to PSA. Collectors of coins and banknotes can save time and money by submitting their items directly to PCGS. The authentication and grading company offers an exclusive deal September 5-6 – those attending the show who are crossing their coins, banknotes, and other money-related items into PCGS holders pay just $15 for submissions that don’t cross. Submitters can find details about this special at https://www.pcgs.com/ccspecial.
