(Long Beach, California) – The Long Beach Expo, widely known as The Collectibles Show (https://www.longbeachexpo.com/), saw its best-ever June attendance over the three days it was held from June 6-8, 2024. The Southern California convention is also marking its 60th anniversary, having been held three times a year since 1964.

“It was a record June show with thousands of attendees,” announced Professional Coin Grading Service President Stephanie Sabin. “Gold prices have been at or very close to all-time highs over the past few months, and silver prices have also been near multi-year highs. Fervent activity in the bullion market helps drive traffic for both precious metals and collectible coins. But that doesn’t solitarily explain why the June Long Beach Expo did so well. We had hundreds of dealers representing a variety of collectibles and a full slate of other attractions, including our popular Meet the Experts sessions, giving people the opportunity to ask questions about their coins, banknotes, and sports collectibles.”She went on to say, “We nearly sold out the bourse floor and saw over 80 children participate in the popular Long Beach Expo Kids’ Treasure Hunt, a free attraction that educates kids about collectibles and offers free prizes.” Also present were onsite grading opportunities with Professional Coin Grading Service and Professional Sports Authenticator, both serving as official grading services of the Long Beach Expo.“As the oldest such collectibles convention operating on the Pacific Coast, the Long Beach Expo is a tradition for so many in Southern California and beyond,” said Professional Coin Grading Service Senior Event Director Samantha Dark. “Sixty years on, and we are still breaking record attendance thresholds. It speaks not just to how important this event is but also how much generations of people love it.”

The next Long Beach Expo will be held September 5-7, 2024, at the Long Beach Convention Center. For more information about attending the next Long Beach Expo, please visit https://www.longbeachexpo.com/visitors.
